Foundations of Ritual Support
in Death, Dying, and Grief

In this online intensive course taught by Bree Rose, we will be focusing on the art and importance of ritual in death, grief, and transitions. Whether you are a practicing End of Life Doula, funeral director, celebrant, or are just seeking to develop your skills in supporting your family and community, you are certain to gain some valuable resources and insights in this course to broaden the ways in which you can show up for others in death, dying and grief support.

What You Will Learn
  • Create meaningful rituals for end of life transitions

  • Hold sacred space for the dying and the bereaved

  • Practice culturally respectful approaches when working with diverse traditions

  • Utilize creative skills to craft unique and personalized memorial ceremonies

  • Support the grieving with compassion and appropriate boundaries

  • Lead guided meditations for comfort and peace

  • Utilize herbs to support grief and honor folkloric traditions

  • Maintain personal energetic hygiene and prevent burnout

  • Energy clearing in spaces which held profound grief and loss

  • Supportive rituals for letting go of physical spaces and belongings

Your 3 Week Journey
  • We will meet for 2 hours twice a week for a 3 week period on Thursday evenings and Sunday Mornings for a total of 12 hours of live instruction

  • This time together will be a safe and sacred container and supportive learning environment for all levels of experience

  • I will share with you what I have learned through lived experience of my years as an end of life doula and ritual guide, and how it relates to my formal studies in psychology

  • Group exercises will support a learning environment that lends itself to co-creation and connection with like-minded individuals

  • There will be prompts at the end of each session to explore during the time between classes with opportunities to share upon reconnection

  • If you have to miss a class session a recording will be sent out to you
