The Moment of Death

Being present for a death can feel very confusing and overwhelming. How can you tell when it's almost time? What do these changes in the body mean? Having an understanding about the process of dying can greatly contribute to the peace of mind you can offer a family in the presence of a death.

In this two part series taught by Melissa Gonzales and Bree Rose of Stone Circles Collective, we will discuss what to expect during and immediately following a death including physical changes, and how to support the dying and those present during and after this transition. If you are hired on as a death doula, there are legal boundaries it is important you do not cross. We will talk about how to maintain a legal and ethical practice in your role as an End of Life Doula.
